 Portrait curved long tin

This image is distorted by paper deterioration and the subject is no longer clear. Portions of the house can be seen, lit up by the overhead sun. This tin was placed low lying near vegetation and without shelter, exposing it to moisture build up which has rotted the final image captured.

Portrait curved short tin

As an experiment, this photo paper was curved into a cylinder and placed in the tin rather than being curved around the edge of the tin. This has meant that the image captured was very narrow and highly distorted but also has resulted in the paper itself rotting severely in comparison to other tins placed in the same area.

Flat biscuit tin

Different locations and tin positions have had different reactions to weeks of minor exposure. This photo has been left without shelter and in a mist prone area. Moisture builds up and rots the paper, leaving the photo sensitive paper slimy and mouldy, destroying the captured image.
