8 – GREAT ALPINE ROAD MYRTLEFORD
|
Portrait flat short tin – 16 week exposure Placed directly beside a main road, this solargraph is looking due east and captures the full morning. The broken solar lines show us that this area was more prone to clouds in the morning, perhaps fog which has broken the lower portion of each line. To the left of the mountains crest the silhouette of powerlines can faintly be seen. These lines ran directly overhead but as they move and are so thin, the solargraph has not captured their image. Just above the road in the foreground, we can see two horizontal lines travelling parallel to the road, this comes from traffic passing by and reflecting the sun as it does. |
